We have an exciting opportunity to join a leading Further Education College in Cheshire, with a strong emphasis on inclusivity and student success, the college aims to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge they need to achieve their goals. The position is full-time starting the new academic year in September.

Position Overview:
As a Construction Lecturer, you’d be responsible for passing on your industry knowledge to learners who are keen to pursue careers in the Construction Sector. You would be expected to deliver courses in:

  • Professional Build
  • Electrical Installation
  • Plumbing & Gas
  • Carpentry & Joinery
  • Brickwork
  • Roofing
  • Plastering

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan and organise Tutoring session to ensure learners have a great experience.
  • To deliver a mixture of engaging practical and theoretical lessons covering a particular skill in construction to students aged 16 and over.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment in which all students feel empowered to learn. Assess student progress through practical assessments, projects, and exams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant trade related qualification.
  • A teaching qualification and/or teaching experience is desirable.
  • Assessors qualification is desirable.
